While child sexual assault is disturbingly prevalent, there are skills that parents, teachers, and caregivers can learn to increase children’s safety and prevent abuse in their lives.
The Parenting Safe Children workshop is the culmination of nearly twenty years of professional experience in providing child assault prevention services; moreover, it is updated regularly to reflect new best practices in prevention and parent-child communication.
It is never too early to start talking with children about keeping their bodies safe.
Whether or not we have children of our own, all members of society are responsible for the safety of children.
Parenting Safe Children is an adult-focused educational program. Anyone interested in the safety of children may attend this workshop, including: parents, grandparents, teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, police officers, nannies, daycare and childcare providers, and anyone interested in learning a proactive approach to child safety.
